Course Creation Best Practice 5: Specify Skills Gained

Potential students like it when you specify the skills to be gained by taking your course. And just as with your learning objectives, you can express these as benefits. 

This best practice tip will make your course brand stand-out in a sea of lookalikes – it gives you a USP (unique selling point) as the way you express the benefits should reflect your style of training. It should therefore be unique to you!

Be sure to also make it clear what they will and won’t be able to do after your course, if it’s critical. Checking other courses in the same area for complaints about what they do or don’t include can be a good avenue in your research …
